T-Mobile TV heading for myTouch Slide and Samsung Vibrant

It looks like the myTouch Slide and the Samsung Vibrant owners are in for a surprise. According to TmoNews which came across a conclusive screenshot, these two smartphones are about to receive a small gift from T-Mobile. I’m talking about T-Mobile TV which is the re-branded version of MobiTV from T-Mobile. This application provides live news and sports and a variety of pre-loaded video clips for download/streaming. The service was going to be introduced with the HD7 and the myTouch 4G (HD), but now Samsung Vibrant and myTouch Slide users will be blessed with the same treatment.

The screenshot provided by TmoNews reveals that the two devices are going to get this application via an OTA software update and the myTouch Slide and Samsung Vibrant users are going to be able to enjoy shows like ABC, FOX or Disney from the T-Mobile TV streaming service starting with the last week from October. It looks like you won’t have to wait too much for your favorite TV shows to arrive right on your handsets. That is if all this speculations concerning just a simple picture turn out to be true. For all those myTouch Slide and Samsung Vibrant owners out there who are addicted to watching TV, let’s hope it will.
