Verizon’s Samsung Reality Keeps It Real. Release Date: April 22

Samsung (hand-in-hand with Verizon) might just drop the “bomb” on April 22, the Samsung Reality release date. But let’s start with the obvious: the Samsung Reality is a brand new touch-phone available for purchase for Verizon customers. The phone will be available in two color versions: the mystic Piano Black and the flashy City Red.

Features! I like features… How about you Free PC Guides reader? Let’s see if this puppy knows any tricks: well, the Samsung Reality is a touch-phone which includes a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for the little “writers” in you, just kidding… for only the “BIG” writers in you.

The handset has a 3” touchscreen WQVGA display with a resolution of 240×400, a 3.2MP camera allowing you to take mug shots of your friends (flash included), video recording capabilities. The Samsung Reality also comes with Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in GPS, microSD memory card support up to 16 GBs, full HTML web browser capabilities and all kind of gizmos.

As you can see in the picture above, the Samsung Reality is a good looking fellow, but the feature that checks this phone on our Verizon “Keep It Real” list (Subjectivity Alert!) is the TouchWiz interface. This means you can easily customize the Reality with widgets, example: there is the Communities widget which easily allows you to access the majority of social networking sites, upload photos, videos and many more. And I relate to the fact that everyone’s Reality is unique.

Wipe the drools of your keyboard (it’s not the specs, but I love the way it looks) and let’s talk business. The official Verizon release date for Samsung Reality is set on the 22nd of April (4 days guys from now). You can get it at the Verizon Wireless Communications Stores or you can order the handset online.
