Ok, so we might have mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S series is basically Samsung’s comeback to the top smartphone producers circle. But as time passes, Samsung’s efforts really begin to pay of better and better. This time, we’re talking about the Verizon Samsung Fascinate, recently spotted in the wild by BGR. While Best Buy is already taking in Samsung Fascinate preorders, there is no official Samsung Fascinate release date. Most online rumors place the release date on September 8 or 9, but Softpedia seems to believe the release date will be September 16. I guess we’ll have to wait and see who’s right this time.
The Verizon Samsung Fascinate price is set at $200 with a new (or upgradable) contract.
So far, in the US, there are three launched versions of the Samsung Galaxy S:
- Samsung Captivate (for AT&T)
- Samsung Epic 4G (for Sprint)
- Samsung Vibrant (for T-Mobile)
So far, Samsung sold over 1 million Samsung Galaxy S smartphones in the US, but with the Samsung Epic 4G just released yesterday at Sprint and with the Verizon Fascinate yet to be released, it might be very possible that the Galaxy S will be the best sold smartphone in the United States, bypassing even the iPhone 4.
