It seems T-Mobile and HTC are building up a very solid partnership. With the G2 already being launched and the HTC HD7 shaping up as the first Windows Phone 7 smartphone, HTC and T-Mobile partnered yet again as T-Mo officially announced the new T-Mobile myTouch, a slick smartphone with a 3.8 inch display, 5.0 MP primary camera (and VGA secondary), video chat and HD recording capability.
Although T-Mobile’s press release dropped the HD in the branding, this is the HTC myTouch HD that we were exited about a couple weeks back. We liked the fact that it could have been the first smartphone with a dual-core processor and all, but even without that, it is still a very promising smartphone.
The new T-Mobile myTouch will come with the latest Android OS version, Android 2.2 (Froyo) and will be available in white, red, black or plum. As far as the new T-Mobile myTouch (HD) release date is concerned, the official press release from T-Mobile states that the new myTouch should arrive just in time for the holiday season.
One must say that this new T-Mobile myTouch sounds very promising to say the least. We’ll keep you updated with more news about it as soon as humanly possible.
